New MAHLE Premium Select filter element: Ultimate performance plus energy efficiency for hydraulic filters
With the new MAHLE Premium Select filter element, MAHLE Industriefiltration is setting a new industry standard for hydraulic filter elements: Compared to conventional filter elements, this innovative filter concept provides up to 30% more dirt holding capacity. At the same time, it combines higher retention performance with lower differential pressure, thus achieving a significant reduction in energy consumption.
As such, this new technology makes an important contribution to ecological and economical operation in stationary and mobile hydraulic systems—whether in machinery construction, in the automotive and supplier industries, in power plant construction, or in construction equipment. Its high performance over the entire service life ensures consistent quality of the hydraulic fluid on an ongoing basis and shortens replacement intervals—for cost-effective use of the complete system over the long term.
Top performance thanks to innovative fiberglass filter technology with new fixing fleece
- Unique multi-layer MAHLE Premium Select (PS) pleated star design made of chemically stable, heat-resistant materials.
- A new, friction-locked fixing fleece compresses the pleated star optimal against the supporting body, acting as a prefilter.
- Progressive design: Arranged in graded layers of decreasing fineness from outside to inside, the fiberglass material combines the advantages of a depth filter with the advantages of a large effective filter surface. The result: higher dirt holding capacity with lower pressure loss, combined with a defined, high retention rate.
- Supporting mesh on both sides made of high-quality stainless-steel wire mesh ensures a high degree of stability of the pleated star as well as chemical resistance against all lubricants and hydraulic fluids.
- The inner tubes and end caps made of hexavalent chromium-free materials are environmental trendsetters.
