With a combination of a conical dust filter cartridge, quick-lock attachment, and rotating wing, MAHLE Industriefiltration has created a unique system that leads to much higher efficiencies in dust collectors.
The innovative combi-system is based on the well-established conical filter cartridge. This cartridge is combined with a conical rotating wing, which achieves uniform and effective filter cleaning, and, due to the quick-lock system, the smallest possible size of the raw gas chamber.
Conical cartridges
The improved cleaning behavior relative to cylindrical filter cartridges, as well as more effective flow ratios, lead to up to 30% greater efficiency. The lower flow velocity in the raw gas chamber reduces the entrainment velocity and simultaneously improves dust sedimentation. This means that “re-intake” of light particles is minimized with this patented system.
“Quick-Lock System”
Another plus—the patented MAHLE Quick-Lock cartridge: This cartridge allows quick and easy installation with minimal clearance required (element length + 100 mm).
Conical rotating wing
The patented rotating wing enables uniform, gentle cleaning of the dust filter cake along the entire length of the filter cartridge. This leads to extended filter service life. The optimized air flow—and the associated cost-effective utilization of blow-out air—also makes dedusting exceptionally quiet. Compared to jet dedusting, the pressure required in the collection container is significantly reduced, and can be applied with greater energy efficiency.
All advantages in one system:
The improved dedusting behavior and extended filter service life, low noise emissions due to the rotating wing (with low compressed air consumption), and low downtime and maintenance costs for filter cartridge changes make the system another unique innova-tion from MAHLE Industrial Filtration. This system has already proven itself in many applications, such as powder coating systems, blasting systems, dry machining of metals, ceramic and glass dust extraction, and food industry. To the point: the three patented components achieve considerable energy and cost advantages when combined into a new complete system in the area of dust filtration.
