Industry Prize 2010: award for MAHLE Pi 8300
MAHLE Industrial Filtration receives an award from the Huber Verlag für Neue Medien as part of the industry prize 2010
For the fifth time, the publishing company Huber Verlag für Neue Medien awarded the industry prize for innovative industrial products and solutions that demonstrate superior utility and functionality, at the beginning of the Hannover Messe. The most innovative product developments and innovations of industrial companies, as well as supplier and service companies, were elected. Over 400 submissions were evaluated by a professional commitee. An independent panel, consisting of professors, scientists, technical journalists, and industry experts from the specific areas, rated all submitted products according to defined criteria: degree of innovation, effect of efficiency increase, as well as applicability for middle-class businesses. At the beginning of the Hannover Messe the winners in 14 categories, from drive and fluid technology, up to automotive, bio technology, electrical engineering, energy and environment, research and development, and suppliers, were announced.
The MAHLE Pi 8300 has achieved a nomination in the category "drive and fluid technology". The Pi 8300 is a compact flow-optimized system, which is developed for filtration and cooling of high viscous transmission oil in wind energy plants. Furthermore, the Pi 8300 can be used for filtration of all lubricating oils in main current or bypass current.
