In sophisticated applications, it is often impossible to shut down operation, for instance, when it's time to replace an element on the filter. With its duplex filters, MAHLE Industriefiltration offers the ideal solution for such applications.

For many years, the duplex filter Pi 210 series has been the benchmark standard on the international market for duplex filters up to 450 l/min. To satisfy customer requirements exceeding these benchmark specifications, MAHLE has developed a customer-specific design based on the Pi 210. Known as the KE 2698, this tank-top filter can be flange-mounted directly onto a block or gear housing, for example. This eliminates the need for a pipe system.

The MAHLE duplex filter KE 2698 has two filter chambers with one filter element in each chamber. If the filter element in operation has reached the end of its useful life, the system can be switched to the other filter chamber without interrupting operations, and the used filter element can be replaced. A patented single-handed lever makes the change-over extremely easy and prevents a loss in volume flow and pressure during the change-over phase.

Together with the original MAHLE filter elements, known for their high dirt holding capacity and resulting long service life, duplex filters constitute an optimal solution for a wide range of filtration applications.

Many well-known manufacturers rely on MAHLE duplex filters for their systems. It’s no coincidence that MAHLE Industriefiltration is the market leader in this segment.
