MAHLE Industriefiltration presents a small dust collector with pressure surge protection for dust filtration, using a conical cartridge.
MAHLE Industriefiltration has extensive experience in applications for separating easily combustible chemicals and metallic dusts, and offers a range of ATEX devices that can even be used with high volume flow rates:
- Product separation during pneumatic transport
- Dust collectors for central extraction systems
- Fine dust removal using fluidized bed and spray dryers
- Filters for packaging systems as well as weighing and dosing systems
- Filters for mills, sifters, and screening plants
- Mixers and bunker-top filters
In accordance with EN 14400, MAHLE Industriefiltration builds pressure surge protected dust collectors with relief valve or rupture disk, for easily combustible dusts below 3mJ. This European standard defines the design of the container with regard to explosion burst strength. The corresponding test certificates for explosion burst strength are available.
The small dust collector is particularly well suited for use in indoor dust extraction for small air volumes of up to about 600 m³/h:
- for retrofitting existing, overloaded central exhaust systems
- for equipping new technical and small systems
A self-sufficient ATEX relief valve for relieving explosive pressure allows less expensive indoor installation. MAHLE Industriefiltration provides the operator and systems builder a complete system, including decoupling components.
MAHLE Industriefiltration has been producing high-quality industrial filters for fluid technology, air filtration, and process technology for many years.
